 Why should I call you rather than MaxDataFix, Inc?

  • Maybe you have used a computer service firm whose Yellow Pages ad listed the company’s vast resources and qualifications, but you get a different person every time you call, and the person who comes out knows NT Server software but not hardware and not applications and not how to use all those programs to actually accomplish something useful.

  • OK, I have to admit it!  But our experience and continuing study are such that we can do nearly all that a small business is going to need.  That's why we specialize in businesses with under forty PCs, even though we have built and maintained larger systems, including a LAN, a WAN, and a connected IBM AS/400 minicomputer.

    But even so, we can get stumped on occasion, or you may have a need for something we don't do.  Well, first of all, you don't pay for us to learn a new product or procedure.  If we spend non-productive time, it's on us.  And second, that's why the small business systems group, inc. also has a few qualified specialists who are available when needed.

 

What if I need a new computer or network card, etc?

  • We keep up with who has the best prices and availability for most hardware and software.  We don't sell anything but will tell you what to buy or will order it for you, or sometimes will pick the stuff up for you, if you want.   And you always get a copy of the original invoice for the items we purchase for your account.

 

What's it going to cost me?

  • Less than you think.  Call or send email for specifics and rates, but generally we charge less than the big boys and offer several engagement structures.  For example:

    -Hourly service (two hours minimum).
    -Telephone support (one-half hour minimum).
    -Advance-scheduled half or whole days at reduced hourly rates.
    -Service contract--fixed monthly charge based on a reduced hourly rate--and you carry forward any unused time.  Two hour minimums and other conditions apply.
    -Project-based.
